One of Stream Recruitment's prestigious high end luxury hospitality client in London are looking for an IT Assistant Manager to join there team. You will be supporting the IT Manager/Guests/Staff is all IT related issues.

Main Duties

- Be the first line of support for hotel guests and hotel staff with their IT requirements.

- Support the IT Manager, as and when required, to ensure the technologically advanced and efficient with all matters relating to hospitality information technology.

- Understanding the needs of hotel guests enabling proactivesupport with any IT related issues within the guest rooms, function rooms or public areas within the hotel.
- Building inter-departmental relationships allowingproactive support to hotel staff with any IT related issues within their role and/or department.
Providing the above end users with the first line support on all software and hardware installed at the hotels.
- Ensure the hotel staff are informed and trained on all newly implemented systems, changes to policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to by all staff.
- Ensure that adequate guest departments (eg Telecommunications, Guest Relations, Duty Managers) are adequately trained and confident to support the IT Department with regular, basic and consistent guest IT requests in absence of IT Manager and IT Assistant.
- Ensuring the availability of all items of stationery and consumables required for computer equipment in the hotel.
- Assist in maintaining all PC's, printers, faxes, photocopiers, scanners, telephones, POS terminals, and credit card terminals and coordinate quarterly preventative maintenance.
- Ensure safety, security and tidiness of Computer Room.
- Documenting standard operating procedures, tips, tricks, troubleshooting and best practices, on hardware and software.
- Maintain every support call on the Company's tracking system.
- Administrating and controlling the IT inventory.
- Establish a culture of IT awareness throughout all departments.
- To report directly to the IT Manager all matters affecting Information Technology.
- Assisting the IT Manager as and when required.
- Assist in the preparation of any ad-hoc analysis, reports or services as requested by Corporate Office or the Senior Hotel Management.
- Assist in supporting the hotels internal PC network including all hardware and software installed.
- Monitor and support all interfaces and escalate any issues to the Corporate Office and 3rd party providers if and when necessary but no later than 5 working hours if the problem is not resolved.
- Ensure that all and every support issue is logged in the Company's tracking system and they are dealt with in a timely fashion.
- Monitor backup procedures and ensure adequate backups are taken for all systems and that they are stored in a safe and secure place.
- Ensure all mandatory company software is installed and kept up-to-date on all the Hotels hardware (ie Anti Virus, Spam Filter).
- One in Eight/Ten weeks, Provide 24 hour, 7 days a week on call support as and when required.
- Maintain all printers, faxes, photocopiers, scanners, and credit card terminals and coordinate quarterly preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a daily log of all relevant IT matters.
- Manage access rights onto the Company's computer network.
- Maintain complete and thorough knowledge of new releases of network and server software.
- Ensure safety, security and tidiness of Computer Room
