Job Type - Permanent Fixed Term Contract - 3/4 Months.
New World Recruitment are working with a small provider of Education and Work Skills contract, who are expanding their business across the South East. The positions are initially fixed term contracts for 3-4 months, this is to build up the area, and then based on success the position will come available permanently.
The role of the Employer Engagement Coordinator is to engage withg employers in order to create opportunities for young people between the age of 16-24 and help them into a form of education or employment - Traineeship, Apprenticeship, Work placement, or paid employment.
Part of the role also includes organising face to face meetings to build relationships, understand requirements, create opportunities and conduct training and needs analysis with employers which in turn create opportunities. You will also liaise with local authorities, and recruitment agencies to gain referalls and maintain a healthy pipeline of employers and learners looking to engage on the programmes.
Due to the nature of the contract we are looking for someone who already has a strong background in employer and learner engagement, allowing you to hit the ground running and generate results across the area to help aid the plan of this becoming a permanent position.
