A leading property company is looking to recruit for a 12-month maternity cover starting in July, with the possibility of subsequent extension or becoming permanent. As Corporate Reporting Manager, you will head up a small team within Group Finance, leading and co-ordinating the production of the UK and Europe Group and Corporate entities management and financial reporting. Main Responsibilities: Develop and manage relationships with the UK executive management and senior managers on management reportingManage the continued development of the UK Corporate overhead management reporting processes and systems toolsEnsure good planning and communication around corporate reporting cycles and ensure on-time delivery of high quality management reporting to stakeholders Essential Attributes: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experienceStrong management reporting focus at managerial levelSeveral years of experience with corporate overheads / head office cost accountingExperience reviewing VAT returns in detail Desirable Attributes: ACA Qualification from one of the Big 4Real estate experienceJDE or Hyperion experienceSystems transition experience Detailed Responsibilities: Co-ordination of the Corporate reporting timetable and processesReview of overheads 5-year Budget and Long-Term Forecast processes including analysis and commentaryReview of overhead expenditure monthly management reporting Review of financial reporting packages for Half Year End and Year End and disclosure schedules for reporting to Group FinancePreparation of one sub-consolidation for Half Year End and Year End reporting Managing the global intercompany recharging and settlementReview of the statutory reporting notes and disclosuresReview of UK CAPEX reportingReview of compliance requirements – ONS returns, FSA returns, VAT returnsWorking with HR to forecast Salary and Wages for annual Budget and LTF processes and monthly monitoring of UK headcount for dashboard reportingDetailed review and sign-off of monthly payroll and preparation of recharge modelsContinuous improvement of reporting outputs, processes and systems including testing of updates to systems where necessaryEnsure appropriate expense and authorisation policies are applied across the corporate overhead budgets
