Our client is seeking a hardworking Credit Controller to join the Credit Team on a full time and permanent basis. As a Credit Controller and part of the Accounts team, you will be joining an established team of professionals, tasked with reducing debt on a large customer ledger. You would be working in a positive forward thinking company and environment with full support for further qualifications and professional development. Day to day duties will include:
- Manage, review and update customers' accounts daily.
- Manage and control customers' ledgers.
- Reconcile customers' and intercompany ledger accounts.
- Raise and process invoices, credit notes and warranty claims.
- Answer incoming phone calls to the department, dealing with queries as they arise.
- Assist with Credit Note Processing.
- Filing and general administration duties.
- Reconciliation of accounts to ensure statements produced are accurate and cash/credit notes are posted to invoices as per the requirements.
- Deal with financial queries and disputes relating to invoicing.
- Build strong relations with customers to ensure excellent customer service.
- Ability to identify potential problem accounts, recommending accounts to be placed on stop or legal.
- Look after and manage the Credit Control function for all Subsidiary Companies in the Group.

Essential:
- Previous experience working as a Credit Controller or in Accounts.
- Ability to work as part of a team but with the initiative to work alone when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent communications skills.

Salary: £18,000 - £21,000
Hours: Full Time
