Our client, a beautiful members-only Golf Club, is looking for a Chef to join it's senior kitchen team, delivering high-quality food for members and private functions and events.

Working alongside the Head Chef, the successful applicant will help run this busy kitchen providing a seamless service ranging from everyday service of bar snacks etc. to the members through to Weddings and Banqueting Events held at the club throughout the year.

Duties will include:

- Ensuring all kitchen staff maintain a high standard at all times

- When required, ordering of stock and provisions, upkeep of all records and documentation

- Minimising wastage across all sections of the kitchen

- Train and coach Commis and K/P's where needed

- Maintenance of kitchen and bar equipment

- Development and compliance of all operating equipment

- Evaluation and design of menu's alongside the Head Chef

Requirements for the role

- Basic Food Hygiene Levels 1 & 2

- BTEC in Hospitality or willing to work towards

- Operational experience in a commercial kitchen

- Excellent communication skills

- Flexible approach to working hours where needed

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Must have own transport
