Mobile Building Services Engineer - £32K - South West

Job description

Building Services Engineer in South West to cover sites in Bristol, Cheltenham, Cardiff and among others.

As a Building Services Engineer you will operate in a dual role as a mobile multi skilled Engineer utilising your core skills as a Electreical Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Visit all your assigned properties in line with the HVAC reactive call requests and HVAC PPM Planner.
Carry out reactive repairs as instructed and respond within SLA to all work requests in line with SLA’s/KPI’s.
Respond promptly and within SLA to all Call Out job request. Attendance to be confirmed via phone portal. Escalate unresolved issues to your Manager.
Support to ensure that all HVAC Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices and in line with contractual KPI’s. To be completed by Due Date including all required documentation to ensure 100% compliance.
Responsible for ordering all required parts for jobs
Risk assessments must be completed before all PPM and Reactive works.
To carry out replacement or new installations of equipment as directed. Providing quotations where required.
Maintain the professional image at all times through positive presentation, behaviours and attitudes. ABM uniform to be worn at all times.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all Client representatives and employees.
Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development.
Completing the FGAS requirements of the engineer’s worksheet and update site records
To comply with the company lone working procedure.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES:

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

To have City & Guilds 207 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or NVQ equivalent
To have successfully completed the relevant FGAS course
To have a valid refrigerant Safe Handling certificate
To maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical and professional aspects of work and the ability to apply an appropriate level of expertise – must be competent on all AC systems in the built environment and have an excellent knowledge of BMS Systems / Controls and other relevant plant and equipment

UNDERSTANDING THE CUSTOMER

The ability to understand, anticipate and deliver customer (internal and external) needs while building effective relationships.
To have a full valid British driving licence
