Reed Education Swindon are currently looking for a Textiles and Food Technology Teacher for an exciting new role within a local Academy.

To start in September the school are looking for an outstanding DT Teacher who can teach Textiles and Food Technology to join them on a full time, fixed term contract.

The School:

• One of the top performing secondary schools in Swindon.
• For children aged 2 - 19, they want to provide the best education for the community and raise standards for children and young people.
• Over 1500 students on roll, with 550 in the secondary phase.
• In 2016, year 11 students achieved 61% A* - C in their GCSEs.

What you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience of teaching Textiles and Food Technology.
• Excellent classroom management with the ability to plan, prepare and teach creative and stimulating lessons
• To be inspirational and enthusiastic.
• The ability to create a happy, challenging and effective learning environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
