Skills & Qualifications



Proven experience of implementation and maintenance of HSE systems incuding ISO14001 and OHSA18001/ ISO45001

Experience working with a Manufacturing environment

Qualified Auditor

Experience within an Automotive environment (Desirable)

Experience of actively working with the regulatory body (HSE)

NEBOSH Diploma (desirable)

NEBOSH Certificate (Esential)

IOSH certificate minimum

Negotiation Skills to convince managers of the need to implement H&S requirements

A proven track record in H&S management, leading and training HSE activities.

A hands on attitude

Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Principle Accountabilities

Development of Health and Safety systems and culture

Conduct regulatory analyses and develop effective and efficient H&S management systems designed to assure compliance.

Develop and drive the EH&S plan for the organisation in order to pursue H&S excellence, ensuring appropriate KPIs are in place.

Carry out Health & Safety based learning interventions in order to ensure individuals are aware of their responsibilities

Provide expert H&S advice to the organisation in order to generate and promote a positive H&S culture

Conduct the necessary audits and manage the accreditation process

Investigations and risk assessments

Presentations and Reports
