What are we looking for?
We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational graduate to join an excellent secondary school’s humanities department as part of our established Premier Pathways Teacher Training Programme. We need you to be an ambitious and hardworking History Teacher Trainee with the ability to make an impact on students aged between 11-18. You be expected to challenge not only the students but also yourself and bring a variety of teaching methods to the table.
History Teacher Trainee Role
As a secondary school History Teacher Trainee, you will be required to support teaching staff with the varied syllabus and create content for your lessons. As a History Teacher Trainee, you will have knowledge of everything from the Medieval life and the black death to WWII and the key events of the cold war. You will share the school’s values of independence, honesty and compassion. Topics you may cover are:
• The Fuedal System and The Domesday Book
• Henry VIII
• World War One and Two
• Medicine Through Time
