An exciting opportunity has arisen for a verification Officer to join our  client's National Contact Centre in Yardley, Birmingham, on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an important role which will place you at the heart of implementing our client's beliefs.

Essentially you will be responsible for liaising with employers, job centre plus, operational colleagues and clients professionally and courteously in order to facilitate the provision of a high level of service to all stakeholders.

A typical day will include:

• Verification of Job start and job outcome claims.
• Verification and checking of resubmissions.
• Action to clear of milestone holds and manager exceptions.
• Supplying additional information for extrapolation challenges.
• Identifying and submitting delayed sign-off cases.
• Submitting revenue repayment cases.
• Ensuring youth contract and employer opportunities are maximised.

About you:

You must have the following qualifications and experience:

Excellent telephone manner.

Outstanding interpersonal skills.

MS Excel at Intermediate level or above.

An ability to handle multiple priorities.

Resilience, determination and the ability to deal with the natural frustrations of the role appropriately.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Able to effectively network to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.

Planning and organisational skills.

Attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure.

Demonstrates a good level of IT literacy – MS Word and Outlook.

Employment is subject to completion of a Basic DS check.

37.5 hours per week. Core hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. Flexibility is required to work between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday as arranged by the manager, with flexibility to work on a Saturday 9:15am – 1pm to meet business requirements
