Project Manager

This is an opportunity to work for Experis, a global recruitment organisation owned by the highly esteemed Manpowergroup. In 2005, Experis established a consultancy which has since expanded and had great success, providing permanent employment opportunities for IT professionals all over the UK.

The EC team are currently looking to onboard Project Managers on behalf of a leading UK organisation, working on site, on one of their key accounts.

For this position we are looking for a Project Manager with a background working with financial client's along with having the knowledge and experience of delivering contact centre solutions. You will also need to meet the following specification:

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Experience in delivering one or more of the following

  • CISCO
  • Verint
  • WAN/LAN network refreshes
  • VLAN - network virtualisations
  • IPT
  • Data Centre build/migrations/relocations
  • Contact Centre solutions
  • Wi-Fi rollouts
  • Cloud/Mobile
  • VoIP

Requirements

  • **Background working with financial client's is essential**
  • **Knowledge and experience of delivering contact centre solutions is essential**
  • Knowledge and experience of managing, development & testing activities, preferably in relation to IVR applications
  • Ability and gravitas to deal with a complex project environment
  • The ability to manage CCN's - commercial acumen
  • Very good educational background, preferably in an IT related field
  • Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • PRINCE II certification

Essential Skills

  • PRINCE 2, PMI or APM certified
  • Commercially savvy - demonstrating where cost savings have been achieved
  • Experienced in SharePoint and MS project
  • Full end to end project lifecycle experience
  • Customer facing and consultative
  • Proactive, but also not afraid to ask for support if needed
