Binding Authorities Technician to £30,000 - £40,000
Leading Lloyds Broker is seeking to recruit an experienced Technician to work solely on their Binder Business.
You will be responsible for the preparation and submission of binder premium and risk bordereaux including binder management in an efficient and accurate manner and ensure timely submission to the market.
You will ideally have experience of working as a Binding Authorities Technician within a Lloyd's Broker environment with strong technical knowledge and experience of the workings and running of Lloyd's Binding Authorities as well as familiarity with Xchanging Submissions. Furthermore, a working knowledge of ATLAS and BARS is required.
·Production and renewal of binding authorities/slips
·Production of endorsements or amendments as required
·Preparation and accurate processing of monthly premium bordereaux
·Submissions to the Bureaux/XIS and ensuring all bordereaux is chased up, received and paid to relevant bureaux within settlement due dates.
·Liaising with the accounts department ensuring that the client has paid and allocation to underwriter accounts are processed correctly.
·Maintain and manage the binder renewal system accurately and efficiently
·Ability to liaise with individual Syndicates Delegated Underwriting Team as well as with internal Binding Authority Committee to deliver a consistently excellent and comprehensive service.
·Collating monthly 'Earned to Incurred' statistics, 'Aggregate reports' and monitoring Premium Income Levels where required
·Ensuring Premium and Risk Bordereaux are sent to Underwriters where required within the time scale.
·Other duties will include BARs registration and upload the information onto the Atlas database and submitting and signing Binding Authorities into Xchanging.
·Deal with account queries and credit control matters highlighting any concerns to client account managers in a timely manner and support.
