Assistant manager required to join a recognised national provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities, complex care and associated mental health needs within one of their beautiful services based in Stoke-On-Trent.

If successful, you will join an organisation at an exciting time and continue to drive forward their passion and commitment to the delivery of high quality person centred care and support.

As the assistant manager for this setting, you will work closely with the registered manager to oversee all elements of the operational day to day running of a small, yet modern service for adults with an autism diagnosis and associated complex care needs.

You will assist the registered manager to ensure the service delivers high quality care and support in line with both company and CQC requirements. In the absence of the manager, you will be required to deputise effectively.

You will be a strong team leader and be able to demonstrate effective delegation skills. In addition you will be involved in the administration and auditing of medication, care and support planning, report writing and liaising effectively with external agencies and visitors to the home.

This is an excellent opportunity if you are a skilled team leader or senior support worker who is looking to take the next step on their career ladder or for an established deputy manager who wants to be involved in the day to day running of this service.

You will demonstrate a passion and proven background in the delivery of person centred care and support for adults with autism and complex care needs and already be qualified to QCF level 3 in health and social care. In addition, you will be able to exhibit proven shift and team leading skills within a multi-disciplinary staff team.

Due to the nature of this service, flexibility is essential as you will be required to share the on call rota.

This unique and exciting opportunity is offering the successful candidate a highly competitive salary up to £22000 per annum. You will also receive a generous annual leave allowance, the opportunity, where applicable, to join the company pension scheme and most importantly continued training and development. Due to continued growth and business development, you will have the opportunity to progress internally to more senior positions as they become available.
