R3 Resourcing has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join a well known fashion retailer in Banbury; this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's most exciting fashion retailers at a great time in their trading history. By joining this exciting client, they can offer an Assistant Manager progression and development opportunities throughout their store estate. This fashion retailer is well known for outstanding service and quality clothing, they want managers to manage their stores and will give you autonomy to do this and to support your Store Manager.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for:

* Work with the Store Manager to drive the full sales potential of the store, enhancing its reputation for its products, service, values and expertise.
* Achieving budget / targets consistently.
* Lead your teams to provide a service focused retail store environment
* Lead teams via effective communication and by setting the 'tone' with hard work and dedication.
* Ensure all Visual Merchandising standards are adhered to, we want an Assistant Manager who is commercially aware and can re-locate products as and when necessary.
* Ensuring effective internal and external window merchandising of products and support material.
* Work with the Store Manager to recruit, train and develop a strong management team and future leaders
* Experience of setting targets for the team to increase their earning potential with incentives.
* Take responsibility for cost control, security, stock loss and loss prevention.
* Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met at all times

The ideal Assistant Manager will be a self motivated, hard working, dedicated and a hands-on Retail Manager with previous experience of managing large teams. We want an Assistant Manager who can work at pace, someone who is passionate about retail and a Manager who wants to be known for service and achieving high standards.

In return our client can offer a competitive starting salary between 25,000 and 30,000, generous bonuses, an earning potential much higher than your basic, a clothing allowance, product discount, realistic progression and ongoing development.
