The Role

I am recruiting for a Deputy Manager, Nurse Qualified (RGN or RMN), to work in a Service near Derby.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Lead or Senior to further develop their career with a rewarding and supportive company. You will be Nurse Qualified (RGN or RMN), with high standards of clinical nursing and at least 2 years senior experience. The role is full-time, 40 hours, working day shifts and they are offering up to £35,300 for the right candidate.

The Person

The service is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Deputy Manager to take responsibility for the well being of their residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. A valid NMC Pin is essential and a good working knowledge of CQC standards, NMC guidelines and the Health and Social Act 2008. You will be experienced in a person centered approaches for delivering positive outcomes for the people they support.

You would be leading and supervising the support and nursing teams to deliver the highest standards of person centred care. You will be familiar in areas concerning sickness management, staff training and development, and coaching and mentoring. You will have an effective way of communicating with your team, the service users and their families. It is essential to be Health and Safety aware, to ensure the safety of our services users and colleagues.
