---BACKGROUND---
TIME Recruitment is currently working with a nationally renowned health & social care provider in selecting a Nurse Unit Manager (qualified nurse RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join the management team at an Inspectorate compliant elderly care home in Edinburgh.

---THE ROLE---
As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a leading role in the provision of top-class care and support to residents within your unit. You will supervise nursing and care staff, monitoring performance on a regular basis and keeping on top of rotas. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a keen understanding of CQC standards will be crucial to your success in the role. Possessing a keen interest in elderly and/or dementia care would be highly beneficial.

This role will combine hands-on nursing and supernumerary time, meaning you'll need to be well organised and confident in dealing with management processes and documentation. Working closely with the Home Manager, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for any ambitious nurse looking to progress.

Our client has a large number of services throughout Scotland and the UK and can offer realistic progression pathways for Nurse Unit Managers looking to progress into Deputy, Home or Senior Management.
