Independent consultancy firm based in London offering professional services to international companies is looking for a French speaking Business Development/Lead Generation Executive. You will join the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) team and will manage and deliver clients projects. The role is specifically to deliver FDI Lead Generation Services which they provide for clients across Europe and North America. Their clients are economic development organisations (public organisations).
Immediate start
ROLE:
• Project management and successful service delivery against targets in relation to a number of client contracts
• Identifying and contacting companies primarily from the UK and France but also mainland Europe or North America who are planning cross-border investment (lead generation)
• Daily telephone conferences and occasional face to face meetings with senior level executives to understand their strategy and needs.
• Organisation of telephone conferences for our clients and programme of meetings at trade shows or at companies’ offices.
• Managing emailing campaigns
• Ensuring accurate reporting to the client and input to CRM as required
• Attendance at industry events to expand networks and identify investing companies
• Assisting with business development opportunities and contributing to proposals as required
PROFILE:
• Fluent English and French.
• At least 2 years’ experience in economic development, FDI or international trade/export promotion, with a strong understanding of lead generation and/or trade promotion
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and targets
• Flexible attitude
• Friendly, happy to work in a small team
• Self-starter, being able to initiate and run their own project with minimum supervision
• Willing to take initiative
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
SALARY:
• Basic salary between £25k to 35k p.a., depending on experience
• Annual discretionary bonus based on performance
