Job Title: Sales Account Specialist

Salary: £20,000 + Bonus (OTE £23,500)

Location: South West Glasgow (Free parking on site or easily reachable via public transport)

My client within supply chain is looking to recruit for a new vacancy for a Sales Account Specialist, in their well established team based in the South West of Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to establish their career in account management and has experience in face to face customer development.

The role of Sales Account Specialist will report into one of the most experienced senior members of the team who will be available to provide the guidance, support and mentoring it will take to ensure success. Therefore all you need to apply is a demonstrable record of experience in effective account management or sales but most importantly the right drives and motivations to pursue a life long career.

The Sales Account Specialist is a role which is focused on your strengths, personality and communication style rather than experience. My client is interested in individuals who are:-

The responsibilities of the Sales Account Specialist include:-

* Working with the senior account manager to develop the relationship with the customer on site whilst ensuring that targets are achieved.
* Liaising and communicating regularly with the senior account manager on innovative ideas regarding business growth and strategy, making their voice and ideas known, benefiting the business in achieving their overall objectives.
* Developing the business and customer revenue through proactivity in sales opportunities and influencing relationships that are built with the customer and suppliers.
* Providing a superior customer experience which leaves the customer with a strong sense of trust, reliance and seamless journey.
* Working with suppliers and senior account manager in attending relevant industry road shows and other events to drive product and brand awareness.
* Liaising effectively with the customer and suppliers to ensure that products and pricing is aligned and correct as well as dealing with quotes, invoicing and raising credits where required.
* Attending and supporting on monthly and quarterly reviewed chaired by the senior account manager.
* Maximising profit potential with the customer, margin increase, cross sell, increase relevant product mix.
