Kinetica is recruiting on behalf of a high-profile healthcare giant that designs, manufactures and markets an array of orthopaedic and spinal implants and devices. As one of the ‘Big Five’ orthopaedic companies, our client has a footprint in almost every country across the globe, and is well-renowned for its pioneering product portfolio.

We have a superb opportunity for a seasoned managerial salesperson to join the team of our client as a Regional Sales Manager. This role covers North West UK and Birmingham territories.

The appointed Regional Sales Manager will be accountable for achieving sales quota and profitability and marketing objectives for the company’s portfolio of orthopaedic devices. You will recruit, manage and develop a team of sales professionals; implementing sales programs designed to ensure that they meet their sales targets. Additional responsibilities include:
*Assist in the formulation of profit and loss budgets (£14.5 million P&L responsibility)
*Assess performance and training needs of field sales staff
*Provide detailed monthly reports regarding region and individual performance, market intelligence
*Attend exhibitions to deliver your knowledge of the product portfolio to potential and existing customers
*Work to ensure tenders and administration of all contracts are completed
*Ensure all Sales Representatives have the necessary product knowledge and selling skills

The Requirements
*Experience of working for a large corporation
*Strong, proven experience in the sales and marketing of medical devices
*Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
*Full UK driving license
*Willing to travel across territory (North West UK and Birmingham)
*Proven managerial skills and experience of working in a management role
*Orthopaedic or medical device theatre experience
