My client is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join their internal sales team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a confident, passionate and articulate individual to be directly responsible for your own success and develop your skill set.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing/inputting sales orders, including price confirmation/order acknowledgement to a high degree of accuracy achieving KPI's.
* Managing the order process through delivery including raising of pick lists and releasing of back orders.
* Updating & monitoring picking tracker, liaising with warehouse team regarding dispatches
* Keeping the customer informed at all stages of order from placement through to delivery.
* Act as first point of contact for our customers and deal appropriately with incoming sales enquiries.
* Speaking to internal colleagues in relation to stock and availability.
* Liaison with BDM and Marketing to support with dispatch of literature, samples and display boards.
* Advising customers of stock due dates using Stock Control system.
* Meeting customer specific requirements eg: booking forms/delivery notes/order acknowledgement.
* Ensure order book is up to date/nothing is overdue.
* Allocating inbound container stock against order book.
* Providing product information to customers.
* Processing credit notes for faulty goods/shortages etc.
* Producing work instructions/customer cards.
* Updating product data base with new product info.
* Processing sample requests.
* Printing, folding and posting invoices/credit notes etc. plus other filing.
* Opening and distributing the post.
* Greeting guests at reception.

- To demonstrate a good attitude for sales, and have the passion and ambition to grow with the company.

- Fast learner - keen to develop and build a career within sales.
- Competent IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Attention to Detail - Understands the importance of checks and measures of own workload in order to protect the company's competitive cost position by a 'Right 1st Time' attitude.
- Written and Verbal Communication - Writes clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
