Our client is a large scale manufacturing, import & distribution company based in Chelsea.  They are current looking to recruit a proactive Accounts Assistant for a temp-to-perm role within their head office team.

Duties

- Solely look after the sales ledger function of the business.
- Raise customer invoices on the system and deal with any queries on open delivery notes.
- Chase customers for payment and ensure that all customers trade within their payment terms.
- Compile all documents for letter of credit presentations for customers who trade under LC’s.
- Update weekly overdue invoices reports.
- Deal with customer returns on the system.
- Process customer debit notes in a timely manner.
- Post all incoming bank payments.
- Assist with any other ad-hoc accounts duties.

Requirements

- Experience of using accountancy software and intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups)
- Prior credit control experience would be beneficial.
- This role requires the individual to be able to manager their own time efficiently and to keep to deadlines.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
