Lead Full Stack Developer to CTO Role - Central London - £65K Base plus £50K equity (total package valued at £115K) - Python / Angular

An established start-up is currently looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their team and assume the lead Developer role and create the technology team in the UK, this role would allow the successful candidate to progress smoothly into the CTO position. The role offers equity which at today's market value is worth £50K.

They are 7 people at present but due to their revenue model are already worth £5 million. They had a highly publicized launch and have been featured in all major newspapers/magazines.

Their platform is built using Python / Django at the backend and Angular / React and Node.js on the front end and all their infrastructure is hosted on AWS.

They would ideally like someone familiar with some of these technologies but are willing to consider candidates who can pick this up easily and quickly.

*** Role will be 80% Python backend and 20% Angular.js or React.js frontend


  • Strong Python Development experience

  • Take charge of development of new features and improvements, end to end.

  • Create code for the team must be simple, efficient, secure and well-tested code.

  • Become a key contributor in Scrum meetings to plan, estimate, and prioritize development tasks.

  • Adhere to the security best practices.

  • Help to automate all-the-things: we want your opinions and expertise to help us improve our infrastructure, deployment, and development processes.

  • DevOps


  • Frameworks such as Django or Flask
  • Either Angular.js, Ember, React.js or Native front-end experience
  • Design clean UIs from scratch
