A large technology company in Reading are seeking a Party Account Manager to join their team. You will manage multiple game publishing partners securing the best video games and content for gaming platforms. You will manage the end to end relationship and be the main business contact for all aspects of gaming business with these partners.

You will be required to act as the primary contact and intermediary between the internal and external stakeholders and drive actions and deliverables with the same. This requires an understanding of the high level technical details of their platforms and personably enthusiastic approach to ensure stakeholders outside our business deliver the required activity/IP to ensure completion of these programs. The candidate must be able to handle diverse views and be capable of resolving disagreements and ambiguity from all interested parties.

You will provide frequent reporting and metrics-based updates to a variety of teams on progress and be able to identify and develop new opportunities for proactive engagement with Publishers, internal teams, feedback and programs.

Key Success Criteria

* Manage diverse tasks as well as the relationship with multiple Publishers
* Influence the Publisher's business despite not having direct control
* Co-ordinate key aspects of the relationship with the Publishers and orchestrate the different resources available within for mutual benefit
* Be close to our Publisher's businesses and goals whilst keeping the priorities of firmly in mind
* Help to bring the best possible games to platforms
* Coordinate key face-to-face engagements and facilitate responses to all incoming queries
* Work closely with the Global and Regional 3rd Party Publishing teams to support joint strategies and initiatives from the ground up
* Troubleshoot mid to high-level technical and business issues when necessary
* Be comfortable interpreting requirements from a range of different sources and translating those into actionable plans/programs with specific outcomes and objectives
* To successfully work with all key stakeholders to ensure fluid and transparent communication across key deliverables

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Experience supporting external customers or partners across European markets.
* Strong business and technical acumen.
* Good knowledge of the PC market (and ideally some knowledge of mobile market)
* A working knowledge of the video games industry
* Ideally some experience of game design and production
* Proven organisational skills including time and project management
* Confident manner with the ability to deliver difficult messages in a diplomatic but assertive way
* Strong customer orientation and ability to deliver outstanding customer service
* Tenacious about identifying great games or features for gaming platforms
* Ability to inspire and evangelise through all forms of communications
* The ability to mediate disagreements competently, staying focused on the situation rather than emotions
* The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
* Ability to translate technical details into easily communicable and digestible statements or workflows
* Ability to develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction at each stage of the process
* Ability to track, manage and prioritise a multitude of details related to all aspects of the programs relating to gaming platforms
* Ability to identify gaps in planning/strategy/communication/coverage without direction and to develop new strategies/programs/capabilities leveraging the resources at your disposal to resolve any issues
* Adept at working with a multitude of groups with different priorities and being able to bring everyone together to complete tasks
* Degree in business, computer science or related field
* Related experience supporting external customers/partners or the equivalent in training

Special Requirements/Additional Information

* Some experience within the video gaming industry, preferably from a Publishing perspective would be preferred
* French, German, Spanish or Italian language skills would be useful, but not essential
* Some possible travel to publishers and developers throughout the EMEA region
* Driving license
