Data Analytics Manager - London – with travel

A Big4 Consultancy is looking to expand upon it's already well established Data and Risk Analysis capability.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Analytics Manager with experience in Big Data technologies to work on high profile projects for some of the largest organisations operating in the defence and aerospace industry within the UK.

This client facing role will involve the manipulation, analysis and modelling of complex data sets and the Data Analytics Manager will take responsibility for delivering analytical solutions utilising the very best of technology to support the client needs.

In the role of Data Analytics Manager you will:

• Take responsibility for full delivery, understanding client needs and delivering and presenting results.

• Performing data analysis and manipulation on large scale data sets, visualising and contextualising data to clients benefit.

• Providing support, direction, and training to less experienced team members, and offering guidance on large scale projects

• Engage with client to further establish relationships and support the sales effort to increase opportunity.

As the Data Analytics Manager, you will demonstrate:

• The ability to understand, manage and engage a team to deliver astute reporting solutions

• Big Data tool stack ideally including Hadoop, Hortonworks, Cloudera, MapR

• A technical understanding and experience in Data Science, preferably utilising SAS, SPSS, R or Python

• Cloud technologies (AWS and Azure) and NoSQL databases

• Knowledge in ETL data extraction, data quality, data governance

• Visualisation of data findings with use of PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, Spotfire, SAS and/ or Pentaho

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data manipulation and data analysis with clustering, sampling and regression testing

The chosen Data Analytics Manager will gain exposure to work on some of the largest and most complex data analytics campaigns within this highly secured industry. As such, the chosen candidate will be required to travel to client site, and work closely with customers for the duration of the project. You will also be required to undertake SC clearance
