Marketing Executive

We’re looking for someone who’s both creative and commercially aware to transform the way we create marketing materials.

Your challenge will be to get to know the needs of our business and target audiences inside out, and turn this knowledge into stunning materials that engage and inspire.

From your understanding of our business goals, you’ll plan and create collateral from brochures to exhibition stands, working in collaboration with our graphic designer.

You’ll plan a comprehensive set of materials that addresses key areas of our strategy, and covers the changing demands of the business. As part of this, you’ll write captivating copy that engages target audiences with desired actions.

Babington Group is a training provider delivering everything from hairdressing apprenticeships to professional accounting courses. You'll play a key role in engaging our target audiences, ultimately helping people to take their careers in exciting new directions.

As part of a small, collaborative marketing team, your ideas will be welcomed. You will have a high level of autonomy, and will be expected to make important decisions about how we take our offering to market and communicate our brand.

This could be an extremely satisfying role for someone who loves planning, writing, communicating, and ultimately seeing their ideas in print.

As our marketing executive, you will:

•Carry out an audit of marketing materials against the needs of the business
•Plan marketing materials in line with business goals
•Maintain a detailed, up-to-date understanding of Babington’s business strategies and plans
•Develop a consistent sense of brand that runs through everything we produce
•Liaise with colleagues across the business to understand marketing priorities and requirements, and to support the use of marketing materials
•Work with the graphic designer to create a comprehensive set of marketing material templates that support an efficient design process
•Coordinate the marketing request process and the production of marketing materials, in collaboration with the graphic designer
•Write all copy for print marketing materials, working with the digital team to ensure materials can be used online where appropriate
•Ensure the graphic designer has all the information needed to produce high quality materials
•Support the design function during high demand
•Be responsible for marketing material stock control

You will be:
•A captivating and technically accurate writer
•Able to visualise and produce layouts for effective marketing materials
•Commercially aware, able to translate business goals into tangible plans and materials
•A confident communicator with a knack for building strong working relationships

If you're up to the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
