Job Title - Biology Teacher - Independent Sixth Form School
Location: Kensington and Chelsea
Salary: £35k - £40k pa
Job Contract: Permanent

Start in September 2017

Our client is a Sixth Form Independent School with the mission to work with students to turn their academic aspirations into reality. The school provides residential and day placements and it is situated in South Kensington.

Now they are looking for a Biology Teacher to start in September 2017.
If you are going to decide to apply, you will be required to teach Bioology to A Level and to contribute in the development of pastoral care programs within the school.
The school has a small and close knit Science Team. You will have the opportunity to provide input of departmental strategies and support the Head of Science.
You will be a successful Biology Teacher and will be able to continue to reflect on your practice to ensure that the students continue to be challenged and find learning inclusive and relevant.

If interested in this role you must have the following:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivelant
- PGCE in Biology or degree level equivalent
- Experience teaching A Level using OCR Board
- Experience in working in a Independent School
- Excellent subject knowledge and passion for the Sciences
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure or Overseas Police Clearances

The school has a strong ethos of student welfare therefore any successful applicant will undergo a full enhanced criminal record check (DBS).
