User Experience Designer

Interacting with our customers is a key part of everything we do here at Domestic and General - we have a tremendous passion for innovative and creative solutions that provide new ways of ensuring our customers experience the best service possible.

Reporting to the Senior Digital Creative this role will be focussed around creating and designing user-centred digital products that will be used across multiple devices and channels following key planned objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Create crafted, comprehensive and tech-current UX designs.
  • Design wireframe prototypes across different platforms and products
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and workshops to research design solutions.
  • Data analysis on existing data and testing results
  • Proactively research innovative and new technologies, processes and techniques.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven digital design skills including the ability to create wireframes and prototypes
  • Knowledge of wireframing tools - eg Axure (Sketch/Balsamig desirable)
  • Strong background of interaction design and User Experience best practices.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage a large workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Any experience of the following is desirable -
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
