International Process Manufacturer

Electrical bias Shift Maintenance Technician working on a 24/7 shift pattern to serve the production department providing both preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure: full compliancy with environmental, health and safety levels, high standards of productivity, efficiency and quality are met with the minimum amount of downtime and in line with company policies (EHS, Quality, Asset Care, 5S, etc). circa £33,000 inc shift prem + Benefits. Experience gained in a process industry such as chemical or steel would be ideal.· Experience working within an electrical maintenance role with basic knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation systems

Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician will perform reactive and proactive maintenance on a varied range of plant machinery and equipment
•Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments.
•Record work orders on SAP.
•Conduct risk assessment/hazard identifications prior to start of work
•Able to work 12 hour shifts on days and nights (including weekends)
•Work on own and as part of a team carrying out routine PPM, reactive and repair works as assigned by the Engineering & Production Supervisors.
•Take full responsibility and ownership of all assigned tasks, carrying out skilled planned maintenance, repair and improvements.
•Install new plant and equipment when required.
•Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment.
•Carry on 5S activities in the plant, workshops and storage areas.
•Actively contribute to support the spare parts management.
•Shift Maintenance Technician will be available to work during production shutdown to assist with shutdown maintenance projects
•Flexible to work overtime to cover holidays and sickness etc

·Completed an indentured apprenticeship in an appropriate trade.

·Minimum of ONC or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline.

·Ideally Qualified to 16th / 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations

·Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings, electrical, mechanical and pneumatics.

·Ability to write detailed repair reports as well as good verbal communication.

Experience in the operation of process plant. Role will suit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Technician
