Job Title – Maintenance EngineerShifts - Monday - Friday 3shifts Morning,lates and nightsSalary - £32,000 OTE £38,000 training + Pension + Overtime 1.5 and Double timeLocation – RedditchA leading manufacturer of precision engineered tooling and equipment for the automotive industry are looking to recruit for a Mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer/ Mechanical fitter to join their in-house maintenance department.This company have invested heavily in brand new state of the art equipment and are now looking for a maintenance engineer to work with the production teams to investigate and identify opportunities for improvement in current manufacturing processes and techniques and company investment projects.This role would suit a mechanical maintenance engineer (or a candidate looking to enter the automated maintenance industry.You will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager with primary responsibility for plant equipment. The ideal person will be apprentice trained with a solid engineering background.

Salary: Up to £32,000 - £33,000

The Role

To follow routine tasks with the ability to maximise plant efficiency and output through continuous improvement.Working on variety of presses and mechanical equipment.

To have the ability to project manage the introduction of new plant equipment into the facility is essential.

To plan, schedule and undertake routine maintenance work as required and instructed

To support production teams by responding quickly to reports of equipment breakdown or failure and ensuring all repairs are undertaken effectively and with minimal disruption to normal production

The Person

The successful candidate for the position of Maintenance Engineer will be:

Time served as an Industrial Mechanical Engineer

Several years` work experience within a manufacturing environment is essential

Proven experience of electrical and mechanical repair of production equipment is essentialThe CandidateAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will expect
