Learning & Development Specialist Assessor/Trainer (IT, Digital, Business)
LDN Group is on the hunt for an inspiring Learning and Development Specialist who will deliver apprenticeship training to apprentices on our IT, Digital and Business Apprenticeships.

The challenge of this role is to rapidly develop the employability and technical skills that apprentices require to be successful in the workplace and to manage the relationship between the apprentice, the employer and the LDN Group. You’ll need to be highly organised in order to effectively plan your classroom time and to ensure that each of your apprentices receives their monthly workplace visit. Being able to communicate, negotiate and mentor is also critical.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering up to 8 hours per month of classroom training - you’ll be required to deliver daytime classroom sessions to groups of learners across different areas of IT, specialising in business improvements.
Conducting monthly workplace reviews for your apprentices - every apprentice has a monthly, 3-hour long training review, during which you’ll need to conduct observations, provide one-to-one support and have a meeting with the line manager and apprentice.
Developing relationships with line managers - getting to know and having a strong relationship with an apprentice’s line manager is critical to their success. We need you to develop strong bonds with the people who manage your apprentices from day to day.
Supporting learners to build up their portfolio - all of our LDSs are responsible for ensuring that their apprentices compile a high-quality portfolio of evidence. You’ll need to assign, assess and give feedback on evidence from all your learners and ensure that they remain on target.
Attending standardisation and curriculum development meetings - our curriculum development process which enables us to stay up to date with current industry trends. We want you to be obsessed with your subject, and imparting the exciting developments in it to your apprentices.

For the right candidate we’ll consider part-time, full-time and contract work.

Up to £31,000 (pro rata)
