A 'Good' Primary School in Surrey are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join them on a long term cover basis from September 2017.

The School is an all-through 2 Form Primary School for children aged 3-11 years, including the Nursery Unit. The school is situated within a pleasant, residential area in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell. We are significantly oversubscribed due to the high standards our children achieve, the first-rate staff team, and very good OFSTED reports. The school is noted for its excellent SATs results, and regularly features in the top 10 Surrey Primary Schools, and occasionally in the top 200 schools within the country. The majority of children significantly exceed the nationally expected grades in both key stage 1 & 2.

Year 3 Teacher - Part Time - 1 Term - September 2017

- Salary negotiable, dependent on experience and qualifications.
- We are looking for teachers who are adaptable and resilient, creative, energetic and hard working
- Have a desire to develop the requisite knowledge
- Skills to work with very individual young people.
- The school hours are generally from 8:15am – 4pm but some flexibility may be needed
- On site staff parking available.

You will be expected to take an active role in the planning, marking and day to day teaching of the classes, with support from existing staff, curriculums, resources and lesson plans.

What you will need: 

• Qualified Teaching Status
• Knowledge of the UK curriculum covering Year 3 and/or KS2 
• The ability to create an outstanding learning and teaching environment for students, including disabled students and students from underrepresented groups 
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and appropriate interventions for students to achieve success 
• Strong ICT Skills 
• Experience working within the Primary School sector is desired 
• Ability to work as a part of a team, with excellent time management
