This is a really exciting time to be joining the team as they have ambitious plans for the future including a capital transformation agenda which will create of a world class hospice facility. They aim to become leaders in the provision of specialist patient focused palliative and end of life care services that meet the needs of its community (Co Durham and Derwentside) now and into the future. If you are an experienced Trust fundraiser and would like to play a key role in these ambitious plans this is the role for you!
Charity People are really exited to be partnering this local Hospice in the hunt for a Grants and Trusts Fundraiser. An integral member of the Income Generation Team; the Grants and Trust Fundraiser will be an excellent bid writer, with experience of winning a variety of grants and trusts and building relationships with funders. The post holder will be responsible for securing income through charitable Grants, Trusts, Foundations and Non-statutory Funding Bodies to fund general and specific projects. Researching and identifying appropriate funders whose criteria match hospice developmental needs, preparing cases for support and submitting compelling written bids and complex grant applications as appropriate.
This role requires someone with gravitas who can hit the ground running with a demonstrable track record in securing income from Grants and Trusts.
This role affords a great deal of flexibility around home or office based working and they will consider full time or part time flexible working. For experienced candidates there is some flexibility around salary.
