The vacancy we are currently recruiting for is a Case Manager/Underwriter and it would suit someone with some experience in the personal loan, asset finance or mortgage industry. You might not be the finished article, but with a very experienced leader in place, full training on any knowledge gaps will be given
Being a new company, they are looking to recruit a motivated and entrepreneurial team who will grow with the company and build a successful career. Reporting in to the Head of Credit Underwriting, the successful candidate will be responsible for manually underwriting loans whilst giving a market leading service to customers and intermediaries.
Skills and experience required:
Ideally a minimum of 6 months’ experience in underwriting/reviewing or packaging loans, mortgages or similar types of credit environment
Confidence to make pragmatic risk-based decisions in an effective and efficient manner, with the ability to prioritise and organise workloads
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about providing the best customer service possible and understand the importance of service improvement opportunities
