Digital Development Manager
Michael Page Design and Development are working in partnership with one of the UK's best known education providers in recruiting a Digital Development Manager to be based in London
Our client are one of the UK's best known education providers. Based in London, they offer Education and training to students from all over the globe.
The Digital Development Manager role is an exciting one for the business. The position will manage the organisation's front end developer, and the external development agency, on delivering an 18 month roadmap of digital changes, as well as constant bug fixes and ad hoc internal change requests. They will run UAT and test each change to high standards before it goes live.
On top of this, this position will also directly manage a Content and Social Media team of 5 individuals, who will populate the website and social platforms with stories from the various internal departments.
The ideal candidate for the Digital Development Manager position will have a strong technical web creation skillset, with good understanding of PHP, HTML and CSS. They will need to be capable of running MVT and UAT inhouse in order to deliver web changes to a high standard. They will also need to have managed people previously, and be able to stand up to senior stakeholders, who will each want their changes prioritised, in order to commercially prioritise the changes with the best possible commercial ROI.
On top of all of this, the right candidate must have some exciting ideas about the future of digital technology, and be keen to push websites forward and be very innovative.
