Digital Communications Executive

Salary - £27,000

Job type - Permanent

Location - City (Central London)

Hours - 35 hours a week

Our client is a well established Membership body that provides professional accreditation's to those within its industry.

They are looking for an established Digital Communication professional who can undertake various activities such as:

  • To create a range of effective marketing and communications collateral and content for Institution campaigns, products and services via digital and offline channels.
  • To work in collaboration to deliver key messages, maximise audience reach and engagement, build value for Institution members, and contribute to the marketing and communications strategy, whilst upholding the Institution's brand guidelines.
  • To increase and measure awareness of structural engineering and its relevance to the 'public' through respective campaigns.
  • To solely manage the marketing of the Institution's venue
  • To provide general administrative and organisational support to the Communications Directorate

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Demonstrable understanding of digital marketing and social media strategy, ideally within a membership organisation, professional body or non-profit organisation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of development in the digital landscape.
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work independently to prioritise and manage multiple projects while under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • IT Skills
    • Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint to Intermediate/Advanced standard.
    • Competent use of the Adobe Suite, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
    • Basic use and implementation of HTML.
    • Competent use of mass email systems (i.e. Dotmailer, MailChimp), Content Management Systems (ideally Kentico) and Enterprise Marketing Systems.
    • Proficiency in using analytics reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Adwords and Facebook Insights.
    • Adept with Hootsuite and or similar social media management systems.
    • Conversant with project management systems, ideally Wrike, or similar.
