About Trainee Science Teacher Role…
….This Science Graduate/Trainee Science Teacher position involves becoming an important part of the down-to-earth Science Department and you will be copying the examples of outstanding inclusion practices. You will have the ability to call upon the experience and wisdom of a long standing and successful leadership team. You will work with teachers and pupils across KS3 and KS4, as a teaching assistant in the first instance. As your training progresses you will then move into a small teaching timetable whilst observing lessons throughout the week. Your teaching timetable will increase as the two-year programme gets underway and you will work in parallel to the Head of Science. By year 2 you will be timetabled to teach 4 days a week whilst gaining your PGCE and you will not have to pay anything in this entire process. Sound too good to be true?
