My client a leading chartered institute and awarding body is currently looking for a Professional Networks Manager.
The Professional Networks Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the Professional Networks Team and ensuring that our professional networks are aligned to the institutes strategy.
With the support of the Head of Membership, preparing and delivering the Professional Networks operational plan in support of the strategy
Ensuring that the branch and other professional networks are able to deliver their aspects of the operational plan, by:
Supporting volunteers within the professional networks, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to enable them to support the professional development of members in line with institute strategy
Ensuring that branches and other networks are appropriately resourced.
Ensuring that all professional networks operate within their remit and according to policies and procedures.
Monitoring branch activities and ensuring all events are evaluated in a Supporting branches and other networks in their role as a vehicle for recruiting new members.
Acting as the primary communications channel between the institute and its branches
Representing the voice of members, engaged with the professional networks, internally, contributing to effective planning.
Supporting the implementation of initiatives through the active involvement of branches
Acting as an ambassador for the, representing it at local, national, and international events as required
Qualifications and experience
Experience of working in a customer facing role.
Experience of representing organisations in an external environment for example
as events etc.
Experience using a database, in particular a CRM database and competence in
Degree level education or equivalent
Experience of line managing others including delegating work and managing
Experience of developing operational plans.
Experience of working in a professional association.
An understanding of charitable organisations and the legal framework within
which they operate
Volunteer management experience.
Experience of managing projects
Knowledge of quality management would be an advantage
Experience of using Eventbrite
