Our client is a market leading Pre-IPO software company based in Silicon Valley in California, USA

They develop a leading open source in-memory data grid solution with some of the biggest companies in the world such as HSBC, Morgan Stanley and many others.

The EMEA Events and Marketing Coordinator, based in the London office, will be responsible for coordination and project management of events, email marketing, web content development, press releases, articles, white papers, and marketing collateral. You will play an instrumental role in helping to organize conference sponsorships, user groups, trainings, meetups and other events in Europe and APAC.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the development of communications strategies for all brand marketing and customer programs

  • Set up a cadence of trainings and meetups in the different EMEA and APAC territories

  • Logistics and management of EMEA events, including but not limited to contract negotiations, management of event, organization of all logistics for event.

  • Assist and coordinate with execution of public relations, events, email marketing, social media, and other marketing initiatives

  • Measure results of campaigns and gather insights to inform ongoing strategies and decisions

  • Plan and execute email campaigns to multiple customer segments, from content and creative development through deployment and management of each campaign

  • Help web and mobile site content plans, schedule regular updates, monitor performance and generate reports

  • Manage and execute social media plans including content updates, campaigns and overall engagement tactics

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Business, Marketing, Communications or related discipline preferred

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in a B2B marketing role at a technology or internet company

  • Experience developing multiple communications campaigns or developed each asset from ideation through execution

  • Experience with Salesforce and Pardot marketing automation platform preferable

  • Experience coordinating and/or managing meetups/trainings preferable

  • Savvy user of Google Doc, Google Adwords and Google Analytics (for website performance)

  • A track record of developing campaigns that meet and exceed business objectives

  • Excellent communication skills with a keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive communications

  • Strong writing and proofreading skills

  • Team oriented, organized and self-motivated

  • A pragmatic approach and the ability to thrive under pressure of constant change and moving targets

  • High energy level, proactive, and upbeat with strong organizational skills

  • Effective project leader with the ability to start and complete projects in a timely and efficient manner or manage a team to do so

  • Attention to detail & accuracy
