New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager
Salary: £39-45000 per annum plus bonus plus benefits
Hours: 7.30am-4pm Monday-Thursday, 7.30am-12.30pm Friday

Are you able to manage, detail and evaluate all NPI processes, to ensure the customer is totally satisfied?

Can you maintain and develop the NPI team, able to deliver the various accountabilities required, in line with the process requirements?

Based in Bristol, this client is a market-leader in the precision engineering field, supplying current and aftermarket products for high level civil and defence aerospace customers.

Main duties of the job

• Management of KPIs: delivery schedules, actual v quoted costs, process improvements, OTIF, NRFT, budget accountability, FAIRS, quality documentation
• Collect, analyse and report on relevant data
• Manage and improve NPI processes, within a QMS system
• Lead and drive product transfer from NPI to full production
• Lead and facilitate multi-function teams to determine best production methods
• Lead, assess and set up experimental machining testing

Experience and skills required

• Technical/production process experience within the aerospace or equivalent field
• Experienced in leading multi-function technical teams and projects
• Strong management and leadership skills to assist and develop a newly formed tea
• Precision engineering knowledge in machinery and technologies
• Specific manufacturing knowledge of CNC and manual machines, heat treatment, NDT
• Microsoft PC ability
• Suitable qualifications
