Overview

This is a brand new role working for an exciting international business with the responsibility to head up all sales and business development activity in the EMEA (inc Russia) region. The company offer a range of industry leading hardware and software analytics contracts, this is very progressive technology. The markets are growing quickly so there are lots of commercial opportunities. The types of industries you would be working with are, Emergency Services, Aviation/Aerospace, Engineering and Oil & Gas. This role involves a lot of travel within your region as well as to the head office in North America.

The salary advertised is the expected OTE within the first year, although, the company offer an uncapped commission scheme so there is a lot of potential to exceed this.

The Role

This is a stand alone, home/field based role. You will be taking complete commercial ownership for the EMEA region, although there are plans to possibly grow a team around you in the future.

You will be given a lot of new business leads to follow up on (average 5-10 per week) as well as expected to grow your own network and this is an end to end sales role. You are selling long term contracts into large organisations so it is focused on relationship building.

You will be targeted on the commercial growth of the region and the value of the contracts you can secure.

Because this role is home/field based you can be based anywhere in the UK, although the role will include regular international travel so it would ideal if you were based with easy access to a major airport.

The Ideal Candidate

You must have a strong background within international sales / business development. You would ideally have experience of selling contracts into Aviation/Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Emergency Services or Engineering industries. The ideal candidate needs to be very ambitious and able to demonstrate the drive needed to manage such a large geographical area. If you are fluent in any additional languages used within your region this would be advantageous although not essential. You must have flexibility to travel.
