Salary:£22-£25k basic salary plus car and benefits

The Role

Bluefire Consulting are looking to recruit an Interior Design graduate for the Graduate Business Development Executive; Area Sales Representative; Sales Executive opening to work for a well-established Furniture and Giftware company covering the Cambridge, Stevenage and Chelmsford area and surrounding patches. The main duties of the role involve:

*Delivering presentation of products at customer sites and at conferences and exhibitions
*Maintaining company's contact management database with accurate up-to date contact and activity details
*Providing regular and comprehensive feedback from potential customers to enhance product performance and service delivery
*Identifying potential business opportunities and devise a development plan to bring that business to fruition
*Maintaining and managing contact with existing and potential customers in order to promote sales and deliver detailed account plans and prioritise customer relations
*Responsible for own continuous personal development including keeping up to date with new and existing products
*Preparing for monthly onsite performance reviews and participating in sales meetings
*Positively utilising all resources including sales department, transport department and the purchasing department for cost effective sales delivery
*Identifying opportunities for new products to enhance existing product ranges
*Monitoring and reporting the activity of competitors and potential collaborators to identify business opportunities and risks
*Understanding the Company target market and how products and services successfully fit in that market and communicating this to clients

The Candidate

The successful Graduate Business Development Executive; Area Sales Representative; Sales Executive must be able to demonstrate a passion and interest for furniture and hold a degree level, or equivalent qualification, in Interior Design. You should be able to display a strong sense of customer service and ideally have a sales background. The ideal Graduate Business Development Executive; Area Sales Representative; Sales Executive will have held a field sales role before - this is highly desirable but not essential. A full UK driver's license is essential for this role. This is not a "hard sales" position but more a consultative account management role.
