This Enfield based Academy is proud to serve a diverse cultural community. The school is looking to recruit Primary classroom teachers to join the expanding school.
This is an important time in the life of this academy and a great opportunity to be part of its future. The academy provides a welcoming atmosphere for our pupils, parents and families and have a happy and hardworking team.

The academy are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, creative, motivational and inspirational teachers and applicants must have high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to raising standards.

In January 2014 this academy became an ‘all-through’ school catering for pupils from age 4 to 19. The OFSTED inspection in December 2014 confirmed that we are a consistently good school aiming to become an outstanding school in the near future.
The Primary Phase currently has 9 classes that consist of Reception, Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 children with Year 5 classes from September 2017. The school are now seeking to appoint exceptional practitioners who are ambitious, passionate, committed and inspiring classroom teachers who will ensure that all our children have high expectations and believe that learning never stops.

This is a full time position starting September 2017

* To be an experienced Classroom Practitioner.

* To directly deliver lessons ensuring that all aspects of the taught programme are delivered in a manner that is appropriate to the age of the children taught.

* To promote respect for everyone, adults and children.

* To deliver lessons with pace and passion.

* To use a range of teaching strategies including whole class teaching, group teaching and individual teaching as most appropriate and efficient for the programme of study taught.

* To undertake general class teaching duties which include the providing of programmes of study planned jointly and recorded in advance by the teachers in the year group.
* To monitor, assess and evaluate the educational programme for the assigned class, keeping in mind the needs of individual children

* To complete forecasts, records and reports to parents as agreed in school policies.

* To make plans, timetables etc. easily available to supply teachers, line managers, the headteacher, and any others who might reasonably request them.

* To initiate and manage external school trips to broaden the children’s learning.

The ideal candidate will have / be;

* Qualified Teacher Status

* Recent teaching experience in primary

* Knowledge of the UK curriculum, and good subject knowledge of the national curriculum

* Good behaviour management

* Good communication skills, both written and oral

* Able to commit to full time work

* Able to commute to Enfield on a daily basis

* Able to start this September 2017
