Work from Home as a SGO Assessor in a Good Authority

A Local Authority based in London, which has recently achieved a Good Ofsted is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Fostering & Adoption service as a SGO Assessor. This is a very stable service and the reason the vacancy has become available is because of a member of the team has relocated to another area of the country. Most members of the team, including managers, are employed on a permanent basis and have held their posts for longer than a few years. There is hardly any staff turnover so disruption to the workloads in the team remain minimal.

Average caseloads for this post is around 4 which is below average for the region and means that Social Workers have the time and opportunity to process assessments without being over burdened. Furthermore members of the team are able to work from home which means that you are able to complete your assessments and do the write up from the comfort of your home. Also whilst working remotely you will also have the full support of the team as there are 2 Senior Practitioners and a Team Manager always on hand to help support Social Workers.

To be considered for this post you should have experience of working in a Fostering/Adoption service and have experience of completing SGO Assessments.
