Rare opportunity for a couple to work in an onsite, building management position.
Are you and your partner currently working in Property Management or lettings, or are you working in hospitality/customer service and keen to get into the property sector? This is an exciting new concept in residential property management where you as a couple can "live in" as a Residents Manager, one focusing on lettings the other focusing on management and maintenance.

Company profile for the Residents Managers:

Our client is an innovative, creative and service focused PRS operator and developer. They are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting schemes in the pipeline, so this is an ideal time to forge a career with this exciting business.

Duties for the Residents Managers:

*Hold open house events
*Recommend rental rates and negotiate lease renewals
*Organise and actively promote building group activities
*Successfully rent vacant apartments
*Conduct reference and background checks
*Ensure rents are collected promptly
*Promote a neighbourly atmosphere
*Organise events for long term residents
*Support and mentor new members of the team
*Establish and monitor work schedules
*Manage staff including resolving conflict and disciplinary issues
*Understanding of annual budgets
*Comply with regular H&S standards, fire maintenance and legionella testing
*Undertake inspections to in communal areas and flats to identify maintenance requirements and H&S risks
*Manage change of occupancy each month and undertake maintenance works
*Management of reactive and preventative maintenance (strong knowledge of all maintenance systems)
*Repair minor maintenance items
*Monitor compliance with maintenance procedures, so the buildings are safe
*Ensure that maintenance records are kept for the all services

Skills and experience profile for the Residents Managers:

*Excellent customer service
*Hospitality or service experience/background would be beneficial
*Proven experience managing residential developments or residential lettings
*Managing budgets
*Sales and commercial awareness
*Maintenance experience
*Strong communication and management skills.
*Instinctive commercial attitude and approach

Package for the Residents Managers:
Salary: £18 - £19,000
All accommodation expenses included i.e. utilities, IT and council tax.
20 days' annual leave and a 10% annual discretionary bonus.
