Our client provides reputable Company providing product solutions nationwide to small and medium sized businesses and are currently recruiting for an experienced Telesales Manager.

Reporting into the Sales Director, the Telesales Manager will be responsible for the inbound, outbound and appointment generating Telesales teams. You will be a highly effective individual with a 'results driven’ approach, together with strong influencing skills. With accountability for the planning and implementation of an effective Outbound Sales growth strategy the focus of the role must be on the use of compliant sales techniques, rewarding customer experiences and profitable sales growth.

Main Duties

  • Reporting to Sales Director
  • Managing a call centre of up to 50 telesales executives
  • Implement and develop a strong telesales team through both training and monthly 121’s
  • Lead the telesales team in identifying, targeting and generating opportunities from provisional market research through to comprehensive fact find of customer requirements
  • Manage the telesales team in ensuring that they negotiate and close commercially attractive yet sustainable contracts.
  • Generate significant annual revenue income that is both profitable and sustainable
  • Communicate with people at all levels to nurture strong long-term partnerships, built on mutual trust and evidenced with profitable transactions.
  • Create sales letters, proposals, quotations, terms of sale etc. for potential customers
  • Ensure customer applications are processed efficiently and accurately.

Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). In particular the ability to build rapport with customers and influence at all levels
  • Expertise in promoting team values including accepting and promoting agreed standards
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to achieve results through their team
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Experience in recruiting and developing a team
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage other peoples’ workloads
  • Using initiative and taking ownership to drive through results.
  • Strong attention to detail and diligence
  • The ability to report at Senior and Board level

Plus = Uncapped Commission/Bonus Package (£60K OTE)

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm.

The suitable candidate will be required to attend occasional management weekend trips/other.
