You will be working for the largest voluntary service providing community help in Britain. This organisation is looking for a permanent Community Engagement Manager to work 20 hours per week alongside their Operations Manager in their Edinburgh location.
Your new role
You will be working alongside the operations manager with the responsibility for managing budget expenditure, recruitment and support of 100+ volunteers, volunteer rotas and networking with partners. You will be maintaining accurate records to provide statistical information, you will train and support volunteers, as well as the promotion and marketing of the service to both clients and referrers.
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You will have excellent attention to detail and feel confident liaising with external stakeholders and building new networks. It is important to have the ability to work on your own initiative, as the role will be based in an office with limited staff. PVG application experience desirable.
