European Payroll Operations Manager - £80k to £90k + Bonus & Benefits - Richmond

A fast growing and dynamic FMCG client seek an experienced Systems proven Payroll Specialist to join their business.

This is a newly created role where the strategic piece has been completed selecting their provider and now the implementation needs to be driven throughout the UK and Europe. This vacancy is a critical role to the business that will incorporate Payroll but also Compensation and Benefits (Reward).

It's a sole reporting directly to the Global Head of HR and you will be the lead on all systems implementation and migration, payroll, compensation and benefits. My client really want a strong individual who can drive, run and own this offering and then build a team long-term.

The European Payroll Operations Manager will own HRIS data for all employees across the UK and Europe and will ensure it's accuracy for all demographic, salary and benefits information. This position will own the transition to a single European payroll provider and complete monthly payroll processing for the UK and 4 European countries,

  • Build an operationally strong People & Environment Team

  • Create and implement clear payroll & benefits processes across the European Region that align with the global employee processes

  • Manage the HRIS database for payroll, benefits and personal employee data

  • Manage the payroll database and connection with HRIS to ensure data and system integrity

  • Manage the monthly payroll process for the UK and 4 European countries

  • Resolve system and processing problems, and communicates with vendors and employees proactively

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong payroll experience and exposure to the UK and European countries

  • Strong experience with systems implementations and associated processes

  • Strong experience with employee compensation and benefits administration across the UK and Europe

  • Strong communication skill set and ability to build relationships

  • Strong Excel including analysis
