Customer Services Assistant
Basic up to 18k + 20 days holiday and BH

Job Description

It is the prime responsibility of the Customer Services Assistant to manage the expectations of all customers, take in and process all the orders to ensure the correct delivery is made.
The suitable applicant should be reliable, demonstrate good communication and mathematical skills and be well organised to work as part of a team. A confident telephone manner is essential and experience of working in a fast-paced environment desirable.


* Take all the sales orders from customers (telephone and e-mail), log them onto the 'SOM system'

* Print out all the production figures by 12 o'clock to provide to the production team and deliver the expected orders for the following day
* Co-ordinating with internal and external sales staff in addition to warehouse and production team
* Preparation of quotations and samples and dealing with day to day customer enquiries
* General office administration
* Excellent customer service
* Ability to promote a welcoming environment where our colleagues, clients and customers receive great service
* Using the SOM System to track all the orders
* Log any complaints and deal with them accordingly

* Polite and friendly
* MUST have a good track record, currently working in Customer Services
* Good Customer Care skills
* Neat and tidy in appearance
* Awareness of Hygiene standards
* A 'can do' attitude, prepared to help out the rest of the team in a willing and positive manner
* Able to work in a busy environment
* Excellent command of the English Language

Working hours: 7am - 3.30pm
Reports to: Customer Services Manager
