One of our clients, a Prestigious National Contractor are recruiting a Planner for their regional business based in Bristol.

The company operates across the South West region delivering projects ranging from £5.M up £50.M, with education, health, commercial & retail.

Candidates will have a proven track record of working for a recognized and respected contractor, managing all aspects of the planning and programming process, working with the contracts team to provide input into projects within the region at pre-qualification, tender and contract stage through the development of accurate methodologies and sequences. This role will be predominantly be 60% pre con/40% project delivery.

Duties:
Planning and programming input into pre-qualification’s & bids involving developing the construction methodology

Preparing preconstruction/tender programmes, method statements phasing drawings and other supporting information

Liaising with bid managers, estimators, designers, temporary works department and specialist subcontractors as necessary to develop accurate programmes

Preparing presentation material using PowerPoint, Sketch-Up, Paint or similar and presenting our construction proposals at interview

At contract stage work with the site teams to develop the detailed construction programmes, design and procurement programmes and other supporting information

Provide support to site teams to review progress or update programmes and report as necessary

To support and be familiar with own role and responsibility in respect of Business Continuity Planning.
