I am currently recruiting for a 1st line Service Desk Analyst for my client in the Cheltenham area. Their IT Department is responsible for supporting two sites and the staff both in the offices and on customer sites. My client utilises its significant investment in IT to give a competitive advantage and as such looks to the IT Department to provide a reliable service and strategy to support its business development plans.

* 1st Line Technical Support
* Adhere to SLA's
* Building of user equipment (PC's/Laptops and smartphone handsets)
* Equipment fault finding/troubleshooting, testing, repair or dispatch for repair.
* Assist in employee moves and meeting room setups, where appropriate

The Person - Skills and Experience Required

* Needs to be Confident, Enthusiastic when engaging with people
* Knowledge of Windows 7 (Configuration & Support)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 (including Outlook) or later
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in configuring & setting up PC's/laptops/Thin Clients
* Strong analytical and administrative skills.
* Ability to work within a high pressure environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills
